S-Bahn Trains

Stuttgart Airport has two local S-Bahn train service links: the S2 to Schorndorf and the S3 to Backnang. Both services run to the Hauptbahnhof Central Train Station in Stuttgart. The journey time from the airport to Central Station is 27 minutes and trains run every 10 to 20 minutes from 05:08 on weekdays (05:48 on Sundays and holidays) to 00:25. Stuttgart Central Railway Station is on the German national rail network and from there it is possible to catch trains to the rest of Germany and Europe.
